About the event
This Inaugural Distinguished Leadership & Community Service Awards Luncheon Ceremony will be held on March 8th, 2025 at The Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Petersburg, VA. Doors open at 10 AM. Early bird tickets are $45 per seat until Feb 15th, then $50 per seat afterwards. Tables of 8 seats are $360 early bird by Feb 15th and $400 after Feb 15th. We will be giving away a $3000 Damon Dreher Scholarship for a student to pitch and win to be awarded to participate in launching The African American Experience of the #FutureIsGlobal Initiative. Winning gives a student the chance to study abroad between our partnering African Universities in Africa and HBCU's in America, to provide both academic institutions with official satellite campus sites in either location. Join us for this prestigious event and celebrate leadership and community service!
